Who is Montana?

Montana is an 18 hands tall, gelding, Irish Warmblood Horse.

He was recently rescued from a neglectful existence at a nearby farm. Gemma has given him a new home at River Glen. Montana is kind, gentle, majestic and deserving of a second chance. Our desire is to help him heal and be as healthy as he can be, in both body and spirit, and to ensure he is loved and cared for for the rest of his days.

What is an Irish Warmblood?

It is an Irish Draught horse. An active, short-shinned, powerful horse with substance and quality. It is proud of bearing, deep of girth and strong of back and quarters. Standing over a lot of ground, it has an exceptionally strong and sound constitution. It has an intelligent and gentle nature and is noted for its docility and common sense.
